Ausgehend von der Architektur des ehemaligen Hafengebäudes, in welchem sich der Ausstellungsraum befand, entwickelte ich eine räumliche Zeichnung eines tragenden Elements dieser Stahlkonstruktion. Diese fügte ich anschließend so in den Ausstellungsraum hinein, dass sie die, durch Stellwände in der Höhe begrenzte, Ebene der Ausstellung mit der sich darüber befindenden Ebene der Kabel und Rohre verband. Durch eine Verbindung der Füße der Zeichnung montierte ich die Zeichnung einerseits fest in die Architektur des Ausstellungsraumes, andererseits behob ich so das Problem der Vorstellung, die Zeichnung könne lebendig werden und sich mittels ihrer Beine fortbewegen.
// Based on the architecture of the former port building, in which the exhibition space was located, I developed a spatial drawing of a supporting element of this steel structure. I then inserted this into the exhibition space so that it connected the level of the exhibition, which was limited by partition walls, to the level of cables and pipes above it. Through the connection of the feet of the drawing I mounted the drawing on the one hand firmly into the architecture of the exhibition space, on the other hand I solved the problem of the idea that the drawing could come alive and move with its legs.
