Auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit, mit meinen keramischen Installationen aus der horizontalen Ebene her aus in die Vertikale zu kommen und mich vom Boden lösen zu können, verband ich meine Stangen mit Eisendraht.
Nachdem ich die stabilste Struktur aus meiner Stahlträgerrecherche ermittelt hatte, benutze ich diese in der Art, meine Stangen zu stapeln und durchflicht die jeweiligen Auflageflächen mit Draht. Auf diese Weise waren die einzelnen Objekte nun räumlich flexibel: Sie konnten liegen, übereinander lagern oder an etwas lehnen. Sie waren nicht mehr nur auf den Boden als Auflagefläche angewiesen.

 

//    I was looking for a way to move my ceramic installations up from the horizontal level to a more vertical one. The first result of this research is this solution: I linked my ceramic sticks by binding them together with an iron wire.
I used a special structure of piling up my ceramic sticks, which I found during my research of steel constructions in public spaces. The contact faces of the structure I interlaced with the wire. Hereby the resulting objects were especially flexible: Now they were able to lay freely, lay on top of each other or lean on something. They did not depend on the floor anymore, as their only base.
