Nach zwei Semestern Projektarbeit in der freien Klasse von Michael Beutler in einem Gebäude am Wall 40 in Kiel war vom 21. bis 22. Juli 2017 die Abschlussausstellung zu sehen.
Das Resultat waren zwei zusammenhängende Arbeiten.
Beeinflusst wurden diese Arbeiten von dem Projekt „If you were a factory what would you produce?“, bei welchem man bei fünf Projekten von Kommilitonen mitarbeiten und selbst fünf Leute für sein eigenes Projekt einstellen musste.

Zudem beschäftigte ich mich intensiv mit der besonderen Räumlichkeit in dem Gebäude und deren Eigenschaften.

„Stapeln“ besteht aus nichts weiter als übereinander gelegten, gebrannten Keramikstangen.

 

//   After two semesters of working in a project in the free class of Michael Beutler in an abandoned house in the center of the city we presented our final exhibition on the 21^st and 22^nd of July 2017.

The result of my two semesters in this class were two connected works. These works were influenced by our semesters project “If you were a factory what would you produce?”. In this project we were asked to help five of the fellow students with their project and in return having five fellow students working for oneself.

In addition to that I intensively worked with the special location of this house and its characteristics.

“Stacking” contains nothing but fired ceramic sticks, stacked up on each other standing in the middle of a big hall, used as a studio.
